Offbeat Bride Tribe Feature!

OMG my darling friends of Annabel & Ruby, today is a BIG DAY.  I am so incredibly thrilled to announce that Chrissy and Danny's amazing Thailand/London double wedding is featured TODAY on the insanely popular and fabulous Offbeat Bride Tribe website! Do you remember this fabulousness?

Well!  You can read OBBT feature on the Thailand ceremony here.  Annabel and Ruby got a shout-out link for making Chrissy's dress--(squealing with excitement like a 12-year-old girl at a Justin Beeber concert)!!!  And as if that weren't enough, I'm throwing in a special treat to make up for my lamentable lack of posts for the past few weeks:

Did that second photo get your attention? It's from Chrissy and Danny's equally unique and utterly urban-artisan-DIY-fab London based wedding (I am trying to find words to describe how much I love it, but I'm reduced to babbling) and the pics are PURE LOVE.  Can you pass out from delight?  I think I just lost consciousness for a second.

Read the feature on OBBT, and you really have to check out the teaser story OBBT did, which has more pics of Chrissy and Danny's London festivities, which are pure gorgeous porn for your eyeballs.  To see my original blog posting about their gorgeous event, click here.  Chrissy, Danny, and OBBT: thank you, you made my month! :-)

Lush serenity: A Buddhist wedding in Thailand

Every time I get to see photos from one of my brides, it's like a surprise gift.  There's so much going on before, during and after a wedding...especially when the wedding takes place thousands of miles from home!  Months may go by, and I'll wonder how everything came together and hope that the day was beautiful...

Chrissy first contacted me on Etsy nearly a year ago and told me about her plans to marry her husband-to-be in Thailand.  What could be better for a destination wedding in a warm, exotic locale than a simple and elegant cotton gown?

When I first set eyes on Chrissy's wedding photos, however, I was just blown away.  (And had an immediate desire to plan a trip to Thailand!)  The setting, the color palette, the flowers, the vibrancy and joy in these photos...

The formality of the Buddhist marriage ceremony blends so beautifully with the intimacy and personality of this bride and groom.  I love that they chose to immerse themselves in the authentic experience of the ceremony and the place.
Have you ever seen a couple look more blissful, relaxed and utterly happy?
Congratulations to the beautiful couple, and thank you for sharing these amazing photos with me! :-)
